I'm Mike Ellis,

Many people say that you cannot fix an addict or alcoholic but there is actually a lot you CAN do to create a healing environment that steers them into recovery.
First, you need ways to deal with your addicted loved one that get you through the day to day disruptions and struggles.
Second, you need to understand how to carry yourself in your relationship to your loved one because what you say, how you say it, and what you do in YOUR life either has a constructive impact that leads them into recovery, or an unintentional destructive impact that keeps them using for longer.
